The best transport for traveling between cities in Vietnam

I think that the best transport for traveling from one city to another city in Vietnam is the airplane. People can save a lot of time when they travel by air. For example, it takes them about 37 hours by train but only 2 hours by airplane to travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. Moreover, it is much safer to travel by airplane than any other type of transport. At customs, people scan all passengers’ luggage through an X-ray machine before they get on the plane. Also, passengers can’t bring any sharp objects, such as knives, scissors, and many other dangerous items on the plane to ensure security. To many people, flying is relaxing. They can enjoy their flight with food and drink served. They can even entertain themselves by watching movies available on the plane. To conclude, no other type of transport is better than airplanes to travel between cities in Vietnam.

BAN FLOWER FESTIVAL

    When the Ban flowers bloom in the mountains, the Thái people in the mountainous northwest region come alive with the Ban Flower Festival. Every year, the event takes place in Điện Biên Phủ City in the second month of the lunar year.

    People believe that the festival arose from a couple’s sad love story. The man became ill and died, leaving the woman heartbroken. She did not want to marry anyone else. Then she ran away from her family into the woods. She started to feel tired and could not go any farther. She fell to the ground and died. A tree with white flowers grew right where she was. The flowers from the tree had a pleasant smell. Since then, it has been called the Ban flower.

    The festival is a wonderful opportunity for young Thái men and women to meet. The event begins with an opening ceremony, an outstanding art performance, and a beauty contest. People will gather to play traditional games, sing love songs, and exchange objects under the light of the moon.

    The Ban Flower Festival is not only an occasion for young people to show their love and happiness but also a chance for Thái people to honor their ancestors. In the festival, they pray for wealth, good weather, and healthy crops. Ban Flower Festival is a very important celebration in the Thái culture.
