Last summer, my father took my younger brother, Eddie, and me to Vietnam for ten days. During our trip, we went to a tourist attraction called Black Lady Mountain (Núi Bà Đen in Vietnamese), over 900 meters above sea level. The weather in June was hot and humid, so I was a little frustrated because I didn't think that I was fit to climb up such a high mountain.
Initially, the mountain appeared small from a distance, but as we approached, it revealed its enormous size. Upon arrival, I was thrilled to discover a cable car available, which meant we wouldn't have to take the stairs up. However, my joy was short-lived as my dad insisted that we climbed the steps in order that it would "build character" and give us a nature walking experience.
Throughout the climb, we encountered various small animals and unique plants, and I came to realize that my dad was right. Despite feeling exhausted when we reached the summit, being outdoors in the fresh air was absolutely great. We spent some quality time walking around the beautiful temple and some statues on top of the mountain, and the breathtaking view of the landscape below left me speechless. We talked to other tourists, and they were happy to share some helpful information on the mountain. The monkeys living near the temple were a bit aggressive and mischievous; it was hilarious when one stole a visitor's burger.
The descent from the mountain was through an extended slide, similar to an amusement park ride. I shared a small cart with Eddie, who was terrified and screamed so loudly that my dad got worried. However, the experience was scary but fantastic, so I really wanted to go for another round.
Overall, it was a marvelous trip, and I would love to revisit the mountain. Next time, though, I prefer taking the cable car up or choosing a cooler day for the journey.

Born on October 23rd, 1940, and raised in Brazil, Pelé's passion for football started at an early age. Even though his family was too poor to afford a football, he began playing football using a sock stuffed with paper. His father had been an excellent footballer before he quit to look for another job because in the 1940's professional footballers had very low-paid jobs. Therefore, Pelé learnt lots of skills from his dad and spent time practicing football anywhere he could in his small town. One day, Pelé's talent and determination caught the attention of a football coach, and it was Pelé's turning point.
By the age of fifteen, he started playing football professionally for Santos, a football club, and quickly became popular nationwide. Pelé made it on the Brazil national team at the age of 16. In the international matches, thanks to his talent and hard work, Pelé glided past defenders as if the ball were magnetically drawn to his feet. His acrobatic bicycle kicks and lightning-fast reflexes became his signature as they both helped him earn the title of "The King of Football." As a result, Pelé helped Brazil win three World Cups in 1958, 1962 and 1970. In 1978, Pelé was awarded the International Peace Award for his work with UNICEF. In 1999, Pelé was named FIFA's "Co-Player of the Century", along with Argentine Diego Maradona.
During his illustrious career, Pelé's impact on the game was unparalleled for over two decades.
