STAY-AT-HOME DADS

For centuries, people believed that a woman's main role was to stay at home, do the housework and raise thechildren. Today, however, such responsibilities are shared between men and women. There is a change in therole that men and women play in the home. Nowadays, men are not the only ones that make a living andsupport the whole family. Because women have greater career options, more of them choose to work outsidethe home, and as a result, stay-at-home dads are becoming more common.

There are several benefits when a father stays at home and takes a more active role in the family. First of all,he can support his wife by sharing family responsibilities such as doing the housework and taking care of thechildren. By doing this, the wife can concentrate on her job and be able to earn a good salary. People alsobelieve that fathers' spending time with their children is beneficial to their development.
