The organization came up with a plan whereby staff were compensated for five days but required to work only four days per week. Unsurprisingly, this resulted in increased employee satisfaction and well-being.

Numerous studies suggest that individuals who engage in experiences are happier than those who acquire material possessions. For instance, embarking on a road trip or learning to play a musical instrument tends to be more fulfilling than purchasing a vehicle or an instrument. The well-known company Airbnb encourages its employees to gain meaningful experiences. Staff members are granted $2,000 annually to stay at Airbnb properties worldwide. As a consequence, many Airbnb employees report a high level of job satisfaction.
