3-Day Weekend Packing List

Let’s start off with a quick checklist for a three-day weekend trip.

Travel Day Outfit. Don’t bring your big heavy clothes: jeans, sweaters, boots, or jackets to save space in your bag.

Shoes. Shoes are always a challenge when packing. Your shoes must be comfortable enough for walking all day. In the winter, choose warm, comfortable boots. Sandals or sneakers work well in nicer weather. You can always add flip-flops for the beach or pool if needed.

Electronics. Be careful not to overpack electronics. For a short trip, you can bring your portable gaming devices. For watching movies, your mobile phone or tablet is a wise choice. Don’t forget your earbuds. Music or a podcast will save you on boring trips.

Toiletries. When it comes to toiletries, take only the things you really need. Choose a hotel or homestay that provides the basics, so you don’t have to bring soap or shampoo. Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Sunscreen is a must for sunny days. Save your skin or get sunburned.

Others. For camping, you can’t forget a tent, a flashlight, and some sleeping bags. Sometimes, you should bring your own pillows and towels, so you can feel comfortable even when camping.
