Interviewer: Hello Katie. Can you share with us about your journey in learning English?
Katie: Absolutely. I started learning English in secondary school. It was an exciting time for me. I had many interesting books, and I also spent lots of time practicing the language. However, I later found the language too difficult to learn and gave up.
Interviewer: When did you decide to continue learning English?
Katie: After university, I realized that learning English would be beneficial. I looked for fun and efficient ways to learn. I even plan to travel abroad to improve my English.
Interviewer: Could you share more about how you learned English at that time.
Katie: Well, I couldn't make time to attend regular face to face English classes. My teacher suggested I read English books and write blogs in English, but I didn't because I didn't find them useful. I also took online English classes which I found to be flexible and exciting.
Interviewer: And now which English skills do you want to improve?
Katie: I feel confident in my listening, speaking and reading skills. However, my writing skills are not very good, so I plan to focus more on that.
Interviewer: I see. What benefits will English bring to your future?
Katie: English is widely used in many fields like business, science and technology. As I would like to work in education, I believe that knowing English will provide more job opportunities and improve my effectiveness in the field.
