Minh:Hello Daisy, how are you preparing for the oral test next Thursday? I don’t have many ideas about how to reduce our negative impact on the surrounding environment…

Daisy: Well. There are a wide range of ways we can do to protect our environment. You can search the information on the Internet, newspapers or YouTube channels.

Minh:Oh, thank you very much. In fact, I was absent from my last class because of my illness. It took some time to recover, so I couldn’t catch all the lessons last week.

Daisy: So sorry to hear that. It’s just Saturday, you still have four days. Plus, it’s not very difficult. According to the lessons, one way we can do is to avoid using products with plastic packages as much as possible because we all know that plastic items need a very long time to be gotten rid of – hundreds of years although some people think it’s just several years.

Minh:Wow, it’s unbelievable. So how about other ways?

Daisy: If you find it hard to demonstrate the idea, another choice is to talk about minimizing air pollution by using public transportation instead of private cars and motorbikes.

Minh:Sounds interesting. But I think it would be easier for me to have a look at how we can decrease the amount of plastic bags we consume every day. I can utilize my family’s real experience as an example. I think my teacher will appreciate that. I’ll use your suggestions for the writing test, which is four weeks from now, as I need more time to collect the information about it.
