During my four years living in Vietnam, I’ve been lucky enough to spend a lot of time in Da Nang city, and whenever it comes time to leave, I never want to. There are just so many amazing things to do in here, it’s always hard to tear myself away!

Da Nang tends to get passed over by tourists in favor of the ultra-popular town of Hoi An, which is a short 30-minute drive from Da Nang. But now that I’ve spent so much time in Da Nang I’m surprised it doesn’t get more love from travelers. That being said, word is spreading fast…and there's a good reason.

It has the longest stretch of white sand beach I’ve ever seen, the riverside setting and all of the colorful bridges are a photographer’s dream and the winding roads are chock full of hidden gems. There really are all sorts of amazing Da Nang attractions and activities to keep you busy for days or even weeks on end.
